 I often joke about the first time I watched a movie at a semi-conscious age, which was “Pulp Fiction” at around age four. I cannot say if it shaped me positively or negatively in terms of my cinematographical tastes, preferences, inspirations and aspirations, but one thing for sure, it did shape me. Gave me a thicker skin? Shot me out of a cannonball?

  In elementary school, I wanted to be a good friend and a fun little boy. In middle school, I wanted to be a psychiatrist. In high school, I wanted to be a stepford wife, but one dream was constantly present, entering the world of cinema. It kept orbiting my mind, yet like Moon and Earth, it always seemed to be way out there, laughing at me as it kept dancing around my brain.

 Now as a Seneca College student, I look to develop a strong foundation for myself, develop new skills, re-establish some of the previously acquired ones and of course, have the ability and the tools to express myself.
